Elder Chinedu Okoronkwo, the national president, Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), has warned that marketers who fail to supply petrol in compliance with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)/IPMAN agreement will be sanctioned.

Mr Okoronkwo revealed this to newsmen when he led the monitoring team from IPMAN to monitor major petroleum marketing depots in Abuja. The national president further noted that the development is to ensure that fuel is available in petrol stations.

He said the compliance level so far is satisfactory, but can be improved, adding that “long queues will cease as IPMAN will sanction any marketer found wanting.”
