Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has reacted to the allegation claiming he received N4bn from suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu.

The source of the allegation claimed that Magu embezzled #39 billion and gave Vice President Osinbajo #4 billion.

The Vice President’s media aide, Laolu Akande, rubbished the claim in an official statement, describing it as fake news “calculated to confuse and concocted to smear Prof. Osinbajo’s image.”

According to Mr. Akande, Prof. Osinbajo hasn’t and will never be involved in any shady activity.

He then disclosed that the online publications have been referred to the relevant law enforcement agencies for investigation and necessary action.
