Famous Nigerian Musician, Rema, has called out the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) over the death of his father, Justice Ikubor, in 2008.
Before his death, Justice Ikubor was a high-ranking member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State and former General Manager of the state-owned Ethiope Publishing Company. It was gathered that the Nigerian musician’s father was reportedly found dead in a room at Bins Hotel in Benin City in 2008. His lifeless body was found alongside empty cans of energy drink.
Recall that Newsbreakers reported yesterday that the Nigerian artiste, in a series of tweets on his official Twitter handle, poured out his mind and revealed many personal secrets about himself. He attacked some people while he praised others.
In one of those tweets, Rema revealed that the PDP owes him an explanation of what happened to his father in that hotel room. He also declared that he has risen from the setback and made a name for himself despite his struggles after his father’s death.
Rema wrote via his official Twitter account, “PDP you all need to explain what happened to my father in that hotel room. Justice Ikubor’s son has risen.”
