Mohammed Dan-Ali, the Minister of Defence, has once again assured Nigerians that Boko Haram insurgents would soon be a thing of the past.
Mr Dan-Ali said the Military will soon flush out the remaining areas still occupied by the insurgents from the north-east.
He gave this reassurance during the commissioning of projects at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna State on Tuesday.
The Defence Minister expressed confidence that the Nigerian military, will undoubtedly win the war against terrorism. He said this will be achieved, even as Nigerians are eagerly expecting President Buhari’s promise to end Boko Haram activities by the end of December.
The Nigerian Air Force was commended by the Minister for the successes recorded in the renewed fight against the insurgents and effectively degrading their capabilities.
Mr Dan-Ali also revealed that the determination of the present administration to build a modern force capable of not only guaranteeing security across the nation, but developing the capacity to project and sustain Nigeria’s leadership position in Africa and beyond.
