President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday gave kudos to presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), Bishop Mike Okonkwo for his service and commitment to the things of God and humanity.
In a statement signed by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, President Buhari in a congratulatory letter to Bishop Okonkwo on the occasion of his 70th birthday anniversary further praised the Bishop for his tireless dedication to duty as the spiritual shepherd of many Nigerians and non-Nigerians.
Bishop Okonkwo said, “It gives me immense joy to felicitate with you as you clock the landmark age of 70 years.
“More than four decades of these 70 years have been dedicated to the work of God as a pastor and preacher.
“Our prayer is that God will give you longer life, strength and your ability to serve Him for many more years.
“I wish the bishop, members of his family and The Redeemed Evangelical Mission a very happy celebration of his birthday.”
